School Board Meeting

The Anchorage School District Board approved the meeting agenda and consent agenda items, including the College, Career, Life Ready Pathway Concentrators report. The Board also accepted a FY2025 Career and Technical Student Organization support grant of $35,000. Additional reports and public comments were presented but no further actions were taken.

The board approved several grant awards for school generators and technical education, as well as a charter school amendment. The board also voted to expel a student following an executive session. Numerous residents provided public comment regarding the need for more space for Rilke Schule.

School Board Meeting - CANCELLED

The Anchorage School Board meeting scheduled for January 7, 2025, was cancelled. The agenda included a proposed contract for the College Gate Elementary School roof replacement.
