Town Council
The Town Council voted to close streets for the YMCA’s 44th Peaks Otter Christmas Classic Foot Race on December 2, 2023, with six members voting aye. The Council also approved street closures for the Liberty High School Homecoming Parade on October 12, 2023, with six members voting aye. Members reached consensus to revise the Bedford Regional Water Authority articles of incorporation to remove term limits for its Board members.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission recommended that Town Council approve a conditional use permit for LocalStorage to add a new storage building.
