Land Use Review Commission

The Land Use Review Commission approved the Final Plat and Site Development Plan for a residential development known as North Park Filing No. 2 Replat H, East Village (Parkside West) Phases 3 & 4. The commission also approved the minutes from the October 24, 2022 meeting.

Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee

The committee unanimously approved the design and deployment phasing for a new trail signage program. Members also reviewed survey data for the Markel and Wottge Open Space plans and discussed prairie dog management at Lac Amora.

Local Licensing Authority

The Local Licensing Authority held a public hearing regarding a new hotel and restaurant application for Qilin Asian, Inc d/b/a Kirin Hotpot. The Authority found that the applicant met the requirements regarding neighborhood needs. The application was approved pending state issuance and city and county inspection.

Arts, History and Cultural Council

The council approved an updated budget for the Community-Initiated Mural Project and cancelled its January 2023 meeting. Members also conducted a SWOT exercise and reviewed staff reports on 2022 activities and 2023 projections.

Broomfield County Transportation Forum

The Forum approved the submittal of Call 4 applications for CO 7 and Midway Blvd. Members also reached a unanimous consensus to move forward with staff recommendations for the Broomfield Neighborhood Traffic Mitigation Program.

Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee

The committee determined that tree planting will not become a public process and that trees at Outlook Park will not be moved. Members also decided that no changes will be made to the Broomfield Community Center's name or signage. The committee unanimously approved the October 27, 2022, meeting minutes.

Library Advisory Board

Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee

The committee unanimously approved the September 28, 2022, meeting minutes and voted to omit the December meeting. Members received a progress update on the Midway Park Master Plan and departmental reports on staffing and upcoming events.

Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee

The Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee approved the recognition of World Migratory Bird Day and the September 22, 2022 meeting minutes. Members received progress reports on the Open Space, Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan Refresh and a draft outline of the Raptor Management Plan. No other substantive votes were recorded.
