Planning Commission

The Planning Commission will hold public hearings on a 51-home residential development at Ford and Napier Roads and a rezoning request for properties near Ford Road and I-275. Commissioners will also discuss zoning ordinance amendments regarding electric vehicle infrastructure and the Zoning Board of Appeals. Additionally, the commission will review site plans for a recreation facility, hotel, and industrial building addition.

The Canton Planning Commission recommended approval of the Harvest Arbor Preliminary Planned Development District for 51 single-family homes at Ford and Napier Roads, subject to modifications. It also recommended denial of a rezoning request by IMAC Properties from MRD to C-4, and approved two zoning ordinance text amendments. All recommendations will go to the Township Board of Trustees for final action.
