Council votes on suspending Sunday sales bans and transferring funds for legal fees

The City Council is scheduled to vote on the second reading of an ordinance to temporarily suspend Sunday sales prohibitions (blue laws) within city limits. The body will also consider a request to transfer funding from the Rate Stabilization Account to the General Fund to reimburse legal and consulting expenses related to the PMPA. Additionally, the council will discuss ARPA funds and the YMCA, and review reports from the Recreation Committee.
