Human Relations Committee

The Human Relations Committee will meet to elect a secretary and discuss next steps for a Race Relations & Equality Survey. The body will also review a Police Community Forum and receive an employment update.

The Human Relations Committee decided to categorize Race Relations & Equality Survey results into three concentration areas for review in April, May, and June. The committee also reviewed a presentation from a recent Police community Forum.

Administrative & Community Services Committee

The committee will discuss a special use permit for a bus passenger transfer facility on Gateway Commerce Center Drive West, a resolution to apply for park commission funds, and the first reading of an ordinance certifying the official zoning map. They will also consider a license agreement and award for the Illinois Route 159 Shared Use Trail Phase 1 & 2, and a letter of understanding for resurfacing IL RT 157.

Administrative & Community Services Committee

The Edwardsville Administrative & Community Services Committee will consider several items including a special use permit for a property on Gateway Commerce Center Drive, a variance for 1279 University Drive, and a letter of understanding for IDOT contract 76M87 to resurface IL Route 157. The committee will also discuss a resolution to allow temporary banners on downtown light poles by the Edwardsville Community Foundation, and will receive minutes from the Zoning Board of Appeals and Cool Cities meetings.
