The Folkston City Council unanimously approved the 2025 millage rate of 6.178. It also unanimously adopted the 2026 budget, appointed Patrick Brooks as Municipal Court Judge, and approved the October and November 2025 income and expense statements. All agenda items were approved without dissent.

Reuglar Monthly Meetings

The Charlton County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted a resolution to impose a one‑percent sales and use tax and to place a referendum on the November 2025 ballot. The board also unanimously approved the 2026 SPLOST project list with suggested revisions. Intergovernmental agreements between the county, the City of Folkston and the City of Homeland were approved unanimously. All motions were carried without opposition.
