Planning Commission
The Ladysmith Planning Commission is reviewing site, grading, and architectural plans for the proposed Rusk County Jail at the corner of E. 3rd Street S and Miner Ave. E. The plans detail utility connections, stormwater management, building layout, and exterior materials. This is a design review item, not a final approval.

Library Board
The Rusk County Community Library Board approved a motion to proceed with drafting a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Library and the Rusk County Community Foundation to create an account for housing donations. No other substantive decisions were made; other items were discussed, including building maintenance and donation policies.
