City Council

The Laramie City Council is holding a work session focused on the State of the City report and setting goals for 2024. They will review the 2023 goals and progress, and discuss the draft agenda for the next regular meeting. Public comment is limited to non-agenda items at the start of the session.

Downtown Development Authority

The Downtown Development Authority will review minutes from November 2023 and discuss several open items, including follow-ups on Small Business Saturday data, wayfinding funds, and potential use of unused LMSA funds for a plan rewrite. Members are assigned to contact other Wyoming DDAs/LMSAs for information sharing. The meeting is largely procedural with no new votes or decisions expected.

Planning Commission

The Laramie Planning Commission will meet to approve minutes, accept a resignation, and hold a public hearing on a variance request (VAR-23-03) from Pilot Hill Recreation & Wildlife Management Area to build a parking lot that does not meet several code requirements. The lot would be located at the eastern end of Willett Drive in the LR/APOZ zone. The commission will also hear citizen comments and staff reports.

Laramie Youth Council

The Laramie Youth Council will hold a work session tour of Laramie Interfaith at 712 E Canby Street, followed by a regular meeting at the City Annex. The council will approve minutes from December 7, 2023, receive reports, and continue subcommittee work on mental health, food insecurity, addiction, drug abuse, and youth civic engagement.

Laramie Advisory Commission on Disabilities

The Laramie Advisory Commission on Disabilities will meet to discuss activities for March Disability Awareness Month. The commission will also consider approving set goals for the year 2024.

City Council

The Laramie City Council will hold a public hearing and second reading of an ordinance regulating extraterritorial direct access to city streets, and will consider budget amendments for FY 2024. The consent agenda includes approving a settlement agreement in the Williamson case, a grazing lease extension, and several appointments. The council will also take final action on a trash enclosure exemption ordinance.

Laramie Police Advisory Board
