Planning Commission
The Niceville Planning Commission will hear three Special Exception requests at its April 5, 2021 meeting. The most significant is a request from Valparaiso Realty, representing ALDI, to reduce the required parking for a proposed 20,442 sq ft grocery store at 1030 E John Sims Pkwy from 147 spaces to 95 spaces (about 4.65 per 1,000 sq ft). The commission will also consider two residential pool setback variances on Elderflower Drive. The City Council will make final decisions on these requests at its April 13, 2021 meeting.
