City authorizes lawsuit against Florida's Turnpike expansion

The City Commission will decide on authorizing a lawsuit to oppose the Florida Turnpike expansion from Atlantic Boulevard to Wiles Road and the Sawgrass Expressway connector. Also on the agenda are a first reading (postponed to Jan. 23) of a new impact fee program for fire-rescue, law enforcement, and parks, and a site plan for MainStreet at Coconut Creek roadways.

City Commission Workshop

City Commission discusses 2025 federal and state legislative agendas

The Coconut Creek City Commission will hold a workshop to discuss the city's proposed 2025 Federal Legislative Agenda and the proposed 2025 State Legislative Agenda. A ceremonial presentation will be made of an appropriations check for the Wastewater Infrastructure Improvements Project by State Senator Tina Polski and State Representative Christine Hunschofsky. The meeting will be streamed live on the city website and CreekTV YouTube channel.
