Cemetery Workshop

Planning Board
The Dade City Planning Board will consider several development-related items, including amendments to the Summit View preliminary plats, a lot coverage variance and replat for Hilltop Point, and a preliminary plat for Hilltop Point II. The board will also discuss ratifying Ordinance 2022-07, which would change a property's future land use from Pasco County RES-3 to Dade City MDR. Old business includes a draft for minimum commercial maintenance standards (no action) and informational items on the Bert Harris Act and a residential development map.

City Commission
The Dade City Commission will hold public hearings on first reading for three ordinances to annex and rezone the Lindsay Property (approximately 10.79 acres on Morningside Drive) from Pasco County designations to Dade City's high-density residential (HDR) and residential-general-2 (RG-2) categories. They will also hold second-reading public hearings on ordinances to amend water and sewer fees (Ordinance 2022-01) and to adopt comprehensive plan and zoning amendments for the St. Joe the Second property (approximately 104.87 acres) to medium-density residential (MDR) and planned development-residential (PD-R). The agenda also includes a proclamation honoring Pastor Harold Thomas, a proposal for a Visitors Information Center, a final plat for Clinton Corner, and the sale of surplus property at 14526 6th Street.
