Regular Board Meeting

The Pittsburg Unified School District Board will discuss forming an ad hoc committee to rename a school after the late Willie J. Mims, following a proposal from the East Contra Costa County NAACP. The board will also consider a $500,000 Memorandum of Understanding with the teachers' union to fund Saturday School intervention and enrichment programs. Facilities Sub-Committee

The Pittsburg Unified School District Facilities Sub-Committee will discuss several capital projects, including the Hillview JHS Campus Replacement Project, a Solar/PV Array Energy Battery Storage Systems Project, and PHS Kitchen Modifications. The committee will also consider a bond waiver and review upcoming bond-funded facilities and IT projects, as well as Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation (MOT) projects and vehicle purchases using restricted funds.
