The Fruitland Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings and make recommendations on two development items: a development agreement amendment with preliminary and final plats for the Creekside Commercial Subdivision by Rywest Homes, Inc., and an annexation and zone designation of Single Family Residential for property at 8087 N Pennsylvania Avenue and north to NW 24th Street by Trilogy Development. The commission will also approve the December 10, 2024 meeting minutes.

Council approves $21,900 water treatment compliance plan

The Fruitland City Council approved a $21,900 scope of work with Ardurra for 2025 Water Treatment Plant Compliance Reports & Plans to return to compliance with IDEQ requirements. They also approved appointments to the Planning & Zoning Commission, a facilities use request from the Chamber of Commerce, disposal of a 1978 fire truck, a Cintas mat agreement, and a judgment levy of $32,152.88 for the Ambulance District related to an Idaho Power tax appeal. Several department activity reports and the December 2024 bills were approved. The council tabled the Payette County Building Inspection Agreement and held executive sessions on potential litigation.
