Urban Renewal Meeting
The Gooding Urban Renewal Agency is meeting to approve prior meeting minutes and the treasurer's report, and to take action on replacing its ICRMP agent and on the Sliman property. An executive session may be held if necessary under Idaho Code. The meeting is largely routine administrative business.

The Gooding Urban Renewal Agency approved the October and November 2021 meeting minutes, the December 2021 treasurer's report showing a $51,596.52 fund balance, and appointed Bryan Craig of Prescott and Craig Insurance as the ICRMP agent of record. All votes were unanimous (4-0). The board discussed the Sliman property rail spur easement, noting that Connie Stopher is no longer with SIED and that Chairman Bolton will follow up with SIED.

Regular City Council Meeting
The City Council will consider several items including oaths of office for new members, department appointments, and various engineering invoices. The agenda also includes discussions on a trailer coach parking ordinance draft and the 2022-2027 Airport Capital Improvement Plan.

The Gooding City Council held its regular meeting on January 3, 2022, with Mayor Brekke absent. Newly elected Mayor Diane Houser and Councilwoman Lai Lonnie Rogers were sworn in, along with re-elected Councilman Jerry Pierce. The council approved the consent calendar (including accounts payable and payroll), tabled the trailer coach parking ordinance, and authorized several actions including submitting letters of interest for water and wastewater projects, approving multiple engineering invoices, and signing agreements for building inspection and Cintas services.
