City Council

The Astoria City Council will elect a Council President for 2025 and hold a public hearing on the first reading of an ordinance to readopt state statutes. A key item is a public hearing on proposed amendment A24-05 to the Comprehensive Plan and Development Code to allow an exception to Statewide Planning Goal 16 for the flow lane/thalweg area. The Council will also consider awarding an $85,938 construction contract for the Public Works Equipment Shed siding and roofing, and approving a budget transfer for the 16th Street Water Distribution Project.
