City Council Meeting

The City Council will hold a public hearing to adopt the annual combined financial program for fiscal year 2025-26, including appropriations and pay schedules, as well as the annual investment policy. Other business includes appointments to advisory boards, a contract for analysis of potential Southeast Gateway Line station locations, and routine consent items. Closed session is scheduled for potential litigation and performance evaluations of the City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk.

Property Preservation Commission Meeting

The Cerritos Property Preservation Commission will hold public hearings on six cases alleging property nuisances under Chapter 6.20 of the Municipal Code, with proposed resolutions and abatement periods ranging from 7 to 30 days. The commission will also consider approving minutes from the May 27, 2025 regular meeting.

City Council Meeting

The City Council will hold a public hearing on Precise Plan 2025-5 for a five-lot single-family development with accessory dwelling units at 17200-17224 Clarkdale Avenue. They will also vote on establishing an Economic Development Commission and dissolving the Fine Arts and Historical Commission, as well as reviewing the preliminary FY 2025-26 combined financial program. The agenda includes closed sessions for labor negotiations, potential litigation, and performance evaluations for the city manager, attorney, and clerk.

Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting

The Parks and Recreation Commission will hold an informational review of the Spring Fling and Fireworks Spectacular celebrating the City’s 69th Anniversary (held April 26, 2025) and the 2025 Women’s Day Luncheon at the Cerritos Senior Center. The meeting also includes approval of the May 1, 2025 meeting minutes and routine procedural items. No votes on policy or spending are scheduled.

Planning Commission Meeting

This meeting includes a public hearing on a proposed wireless telecommunication facility by AT&T on an existing Southern California Edison transmission tower north of Artesia Boulevard. The Commission will also review and comment on a Chick-fil-A interior and exterior improvement at Los Cerritos Center, and consider a finding that the proposed Capital Improvement Program for FY 2025-2026 conforms to the General Plan. Additionally, they will discuss a commissioner's suggestion to establish a new RS-4000 single-family residential zone.

• Public hearing for Wireless Telecommunication Permit 2025-1 (AT&T): 12 panel antennas, 9 remote radio units, and equipment enclosure on SCE tower north of Artesia Blvd and east of San Gabriel River (APN 7034-001-803).
• Chick-fil-A minor precise plan for interior and exterior improvements at existing restaurant in Los Cerritos Center, 18605 Gridley Road (APN 7038-014-023).
