Planning Board
The Planning Board will hold a training workshop followed by a regular meeting. The board is continuing the review of four separate applications for site plan and subdivision approvals.
- Site Plan and Subdivision Approval for mixed-use commercial and residential at 45 Beekman Street and High Street
- Site Plan and Subdivision Approval for mixed-use commercial and residential at 420-430 Fishkill Avenue
- Site Plan Approval for mixed-use commercial and residential at 291 Main Street
- Site Plan Approval for a 4-unit multi-family dwelling at 14 N Cedar Street
City Council
The Beacon City Council will swear in a new Ward Four councilmember and discuss several agenda items. It will consider proposed local laws that would provide property tax exemptions for senior citizens and disabled people with limited income. The council will also appoint two individuals to police officer positions, add five members to the Conservation Advisory Committee, review the 2025 Community Development Block Grant program, and receive an update on the water meter upgrade project.

City Council
The Beacon City Council will appoint members to the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and other committees, and authorize a real estate broker agreement with Gate House Team.

City Council
The Beacon City Council will vote on several appointments to the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Assessment Review, and Tree Advisory Committee. It will also consider the results of the Real Estate Broker Services RFP. A grant funding authorization for the Beekman Street Project Transportation Improvement Program will be presented. Finally, the council will designate the Poughkeepsie Journal as the newspaper of record.
