Vision 2040 Advisory Committee

The Vision 2040 Advisory Committee is meeting to discuss its annual calendar and duties for 2022, review draft City Council goals for the 2022/2023 fiscal year, and plan updates on the Olalla Center Cultural Fest and Community Vision Awards. The committee will also brainstorm recommendations for agenda items and presentations, and appoint a chair and vice chair. The meeting is held electronically with public comment via email.

Library Board

The Newport Library Board is meeting virtually to review library statistics, discuss the Lincoln County Library District report, and consider updates to the Newport Public Library Strategic Plan. The board will also discuss policy revisions for hotspots and loan periods and renewals, along with a debrief of the 2021 Summer Reading program.

Airport Committee

The Newport Airport Committee will discuss and potentially act on engineering details for Ken Williams' hangar at build sites A2 and D3, and review a solar feasibility study for the airport. The meeting also includes approval of December 2021 minutes and an operations report. Public comment is accepted via email before the meeting.
