Commission of Special Events

Planning and Environmental Commission
The Planning and Environmental Commission meeting is mostly procedural: three Middle Creek subdivision items (a land use map amendment, a zone district boundary amendment, and a minor subdivision) were postponed to the September 26 meeting due to application changes, and one rezoning application for 5137 Black Gore Drive was withdrawn. The commission will also approve minutes from the August 22 meeting.

Design Review Board
The Vail Design Review Board will hold a final review of a material change to the Vail Spa's approved plans and a conceptual review of a new multifamily building at 2420 Chamonix Lane. Planning and Environmental Commission
The Vail Planning and Environmental Commission will consider tabling three Middle Creek Subdivision items (a land use map amendment, a zone district boundary amendment, and a minor subdivision request) to September 12, 2022, as requested by the applicant. The commission will also hold a worksession on implementing two new West Vail zone districts (West Vail Multiple Family 1 and 2) recommended by the West Vail Master Plan to address non-conformities and support deed-restricted housing. Additionally, the commission will designate a member to the Designated Open Space Board of Trustees and approve minutes from July 25, 2022.
