City Council Meetings
The council reconvened in open session at 6:45 p.m. Councilmember Jordan moved to ratify the City Administrator’s termination of the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Director, and Councilmember Haggard seconded the motion. The motion passed with three votes in favor, no votes against, and Councilmember George Beard abstaining. Mayor Craddick adjourned the meeting at 6:47 p.m.

Economic Development Corporation (HEDC)
The Board ratified the employment of Jamie LaDuke as Executive Director and directed staff to seek City Council approval to extend city employee benefits to corporation employees. The Board also discussed implementing a more hands-on management approach for the EDC/Main Street Office, including weekly reports and an annual review process.
