Parks & Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission will review an updated plan for Mill District Park and consider recommending approval to the Planning Commission. They will also review a special event application from BloodRoot Wines for the BloodRoot Ramble on June 10, 2023, which includes requests for alcohol consumption, waiver of the 24-hour use restriction, and fencing of West Plaza Park. Additionally, the commission will discuss revisions to the smoking ban in Chapter 8.24 of the municipal code and receive updates on the Arts and Culture Master Plan and community services staffing.
