After a public hearing, the Ingleside City Council voted unanimously to deny an Objectionable Use Permit application from Ingleside Clean Ammonia Partners, LLC for an ammonia production and export facility at the Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center, 1450 Lexington Road. The hearing included a presentation by project representatives and comments from residents, most of whom spoke against the application. Council Member Diehl made the motion to deny, seconded by Council Member Wilson, and it carried with all present voting in favor. Council also discussed placing the existing 2012-2013 Objectionable Use Permit ordinance on a future agenda and requested a streets update.
