Children's Cabinet
The Children's Cabinet will receive a presentation from Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana on VIA LINK, Inc., and discuss budget recommendations and priorities from advisory subcommittees covering vulnerable youth, behavioral health, family stability, early childhood, and other areas. Updates will also be given on the Council on Children of Incarcerated Parents and the Council on the Status of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Children's Cabinet
The Louisiana Children's Cabinet Board will meet on August 14, 2025, to hear presentations from Louisiana Youth for Excellence and Hope for Opelousas, receive updates from the Partners in Protecting Children Subcommittee and the Solutions Summit, and hold a strategic session. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the 4th Floor Press Room of the State Capitol.
