The Louisiana Engineers Selection Board selected six design firms for various infrastructure and renovation projects through a written majority vote. The board also elected a Vice Chairman and adopted previous meeting minutes.

The Louisiana Engineering Selection Board is accepting applications for design services for six different infrastructure and HVAC projects. The board will meet on October 11, 2023, to review these applications.

• Replace Chilled Water Lines at Southern University, Baton Rouge: $24,800,000 construction funds
• HVAC Renovations at Southern University Shreveport: $6,325,000 construction funds
• HVAC Equipment Replacement at LUMCON in Cocodrie: $2,000,000 construction funds
• Drainage Improvements and Raising Level of Street at Nicholls State University: $1,625,000 construction funds
• Mechanical Equipment Upgrades at Old Governor's Mansion, Baton Rouge: $456,000 construction funds

Engineers Selection Board

The Engineers Selection Board is accepting applications for engineering design services on 10 state-owned building projects across Louisiana, including lab ventilation, HVAC replacements, lighting upgrades, and emergency power systems. Applications must be submitted by June 27, 2023, using the standard LSB-1 form with no attachments. The board will select designers for each project based on qualifications.

Engineers Selection Board

The Engineers Selection Board is accepting applications for engineering design services on 11 state-funded construction projects, including erosion control at McNeese State, repairs to the USS KIDD, and HVAC upgrades at multiple campuses. Applications must be submitted by December 16, 2022, using the standard LSB-1 form with no attachments. The board will select firms to design projects with total construction funds of approximately $18.8 million.
