Engineers Selection Board

The Louisiana Engineering Selection Board will meet to consider applications for engineering services on five capital projects at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge Community College, Central Louisiana Technical Community College, and the University of New Orleans. The board is expected to select design firms for electrical infrastructure upgrades, roadway restoration, and chiller repairs. Applications were due September 25, 2024.

• Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades, Life Science Building, LSU, Baton Rouge — $3,300,000 AFC, $159,578 fee
• Roadway Restoration, West Lakeshore Drive, LSU, Baton Rouge — $2,500,000 AFC, $117,881 fee
• Electrical Distribution System Upgrades, BRCC Acadian Campus, Baton Rouge — $1,254,000 AFC, $84,284 fee
• Parking Lots and Drainage Repairs, CLTCC Ward H. Nash Campus, Cottonport — $1,200,000 AFC, $99,992 fee
• Chiller Repair, North Central Plant Building, UNO, New Orleans — $960,000 AFC, $44,236 fee

The Board selected four engineering firms for infrastructure and repair projects at LSU, Baton Rouge Community College, Central Louisiana Technical Community College, and the University of New Orleans. One roadway restoration project was removed from the agenda at the request of the User Agency.

Engineers Selection Board

The meeting originally scheduled for April 10, 2024, was postponed due to inclement weather. The board will now meet on April 18, 2024, to address engineering services advertisements.

The Board selected designers for four separate infrastructure projects. Selection methods included majority votes, unanimous votes, and coin tosses to break ties.

• Building 2033 Electrical and HVAC Upgrade at Jackson Barracks (Construction funds: $1,000,000; Fee: $52,368)
• Water Distribution System repairs and upgrades at Jackson Barracks (Construction funds: $575,000; Fee: $31,569)

Engineers Selection Board

The Engineers Selection Board is accepting applications for a project to convert heating systems from steam to heating water at LSU Shreveport. The work involves the Business Administration & Education Building and Bronson Hall.

Engineers Selection Board

The board is accepting applications for engineering services for various infrastructure, renovation, and repair projects across state facilities. The meeting will address the selection of designers for these projects, which include university upgrades and wildlife refuge repairs.
