Manufactured Housing Commission

The Louisiana Manufactured Housing Commission will review a complaint about a manufactured home installation, hear a permit office inquiry, and receive reports from staff and industry representatives. The meeting also includes public comment and an executive session.

The Louisiana Manufactured Housing Commission will consider two appeals of fines: Bourgeios Homes Inc. and Fleur De Lis Home Center appeal $8,500 for selling homes without a license, and The Right Way Mobile Home Movers & Transport Service LLC appeals a $750 fine for improper installation. The Commission elected Robert Parks as chairperson and Gary Millet Sr. as vice chair. The board reduced fines by 50% for Regional Homes of Monroe and Beau-Cal Inc., and partially waived a fine for Schexnaydre Restoration & Construction LLC. No dispute resolution process was formally adopted, though the need for a written process was discussed.
