Motor Vehicle Commission

The Commission unanimously approved contract renewals for Counselors Adrian F. LaPeyronnie, III and Gregory F. Reggie. Multiple consent judgments were ratified, resulting in fines for several motor vehicle dealerships. The board also ratified numerous new manufacturer, distributor, and dealer licenses.

Motor Vehicle Commission

The Commission will meet to ratify a wide range of licenses for motor vehicle manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and lessors. The agenda also includes a report on the 'Road to Zero Showcase' event scheduled for October 1, 2025, in Baton Rouge.

The Commission approved several consent judgments involving fines for licensing violations. Motor Vehicle Commission

The Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission will discuss fiscal audit compliance and 2025 legislation including Act 408 (dispute resolution panel), Act 405 (RV protest right), and HCR 69. The Commission unanimously approved increasing daily civil penalties for unlicensed salespersons. It also ratified numerous manufacturer, dealer, and lessor licenses and approved several consent judgments involving fines and probation for vehicle dealers.

Motor Vehicle Commission

The Commission met in executive session to discuss a settlement agreement dated June 24, 2025, between Tesla and Commission members. The Commission voted to accept the agreement and authorized the Chairman to execute the document.
