City Council

The Lake Dallas City Council will hold a work session and regular meeting on January 13, 2022. They will discuss several items including a turn signal on Hundley Drive, a possible charter amendment election and name change, wind signs, and a seniors program. In open session, they will vote on consent agenda items, several plats and site plans, a new drainage utility ordinance with rates, and the appointment of a police chief.

Community Development Corporation

The Lake Cities Broadband Planning Committee is meeting to discuss and make a recommendation to Lake Cities city councils on a potential broadband provider to construct a fiber ring. Community Development Corporation

The Lake Dallas Community Development Corporation board will consider authorizing a brokerage agreement with AXIS Realty Group for LDCDC-owned properties, a contract for asbestos abatement and demolition at 1000-1002 S. Stemmons Freeway, and a public hearing on the sale and development of 312 Main Street. The board will also approve minutes and financials, and hold an executive session for a preliminary concept presentation from Project Public Service.
