Lansing Council reviews violence prevention budget and approves local appointments

The Committee of the Whole reviewed a $1,954,240 proposal for the Advance Peace Initiative to address gun violence. Members also approved several resolutions, including an appointment to the Board of Review and the recertification of the Redevelopment Ready Communities Program. A public hearing was scheduled for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
