Parks and Arts Commission

The Liberty Lake Parks and Arts Commission is holding its regular meeting to approve minutes, receive staff reports, and discuss several items including the Barefoot in the Park 2023 event, a new commissioner introduction, and the DAR Never Forget Garden update. The commission will also vote for chair and vice chair, and discuss a call to artist for Hooptown Court. The meeting includes a discussion on the level of commission involvement in parks decision-making, events, donations, and projects, including the Rocky Hill Shade Structure.

City Council

The Liberty Lake City Council will consider several action items, including authorizing the mayor to extend a crack sealing contract with Road Products, Inc. for one year at up to $34,999, and approving the purchase of two police vehicles and outfitting from RACOM for $139,631.86. The council will also hold a second reading of Ordinance No. 293, which adopts a compost procurement policy, and approve consent agenda items including meeting minutes and vouchers totaling $1,624,326.45. The meeting includes presentations and proclamations, such as recognizing police employees and declaring Community Risk Reduction Week.
