Airport Advisory Committee

The Mariposa County In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee met on January 8, 2024 and approved its agenda and the December 11, 2023 minutes, both by unanimous vote. Staff reported that the county provider pay rate rose to $16.60 per hour in January 2024 and sick time accrual increased to 40 hours a year. A financial update is expected in April 2024.

Mariposa County Fire Advisory Committee (MCFAC)

The Mariposa County Fire Advisory Committee is meeting to discuss updates to the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). The committee will also consider recommendations for letters of support regarding grants for the Fire Safe Council and the Resource Conservation District.

Behavioral Health Board

The board will discuss proposed goals for the 2024 calendar year and consider a letter of support for the North County Office. The meeting also includes reports from community partners and quarterly reviews of BHRS contracts.

The Mariposa County Behavioral Health Board approved its November 1, 2023 minutes unanimously and heard updates on crisis services, including a contractual change effective January 2024 for 24/7 field response and a proposed January 2024 start for a Mobile Crisis Unit. Staff reported the Wellness Center is now open five days a week and that the county is at an all-time low of three clinicians. No new business was taken up, and SB43 was deferred to a future Board of Supervisors meeting.
