Arts and Culture Commission

The Los Gatos Arts and Culture Commission is meeting to discuss arts-related matters, including a presentation on a proposed public artwork by art advisors representing Summerhill, updates on development projects related to the Public Art Ordinance, and progress on pending arts items. Public comments are welcome in person or via email.

Development Review Committee

The Los Gatos Development Review Committee will meet to consider draft minutes and hold a public hearing regarding an architecture and site application for 210 La Terra Court. The meeting includes standard procedural items and opportunities for public comment.

The Development Review Committee unanimously approved the consent calendar, including the July 29, 2025 minutes. The committee also unanimously approved an application to construct a new single-family residence, remove large protected trees, and perform site improvements requiring a grading permit at 230 La Terra Court, with required findings and recommended conditions of approval.

Town Council Meeting

The Town Council will hold a public hearing on an appeal of a Planning Commission decision to deny a fence height exception at 10 Charles Street, with a recommendation to deny the appeal. The council will also receive the bi-annual police services report and provide direction on distributing $155,000 in community grants. Consent items include approving minutes, a financial report, a janitorial contract amendment, and several routine resolutions.

The Complete Streets & Transportation Commission meeting scheduled for August 14, 2025, was cancelled due to lack of quorum. No items were discussed or decided. The next regular meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2025.

Planning Commission

The Los Gatos Planning Commission will hold public hearings on three items: an appeal of a decision to deny removal of a pre-1941 property from the Historic Resources Inventory, a grading permit and tree removal for redevelopment of the La Rinconada Golf Course, and a request to modify Planned Development Ordinance 1281 to increase floor area ratio and lot coverage at 130 Vasona Oaks Drive. The meeting also includes consent items (approval of draft minutes) and public comment periods.
