It also adopted resolutions appointing election officials, a planning‑commission member, and a new wastewater plant operator, and moved reserve funds to a new investment account. Additionally, the Board authorized extra police shift pay hours through May 31, 2026.

2025 Cemetery
The Cemetery Board unanimously approved the agenda and the August 27 minutes. They discussed the 2026 cemetery budget but took no action. The board voted 4-0 to appoint Public Works Director Scott McNett as Cemetery Manager with a $300 monthly stipend, pending confirmation it will not create overtime. All motions were carried.
