Planning board to consider major land use change for Lulfs Grove (464 acres)

The Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings on several land use changes, including a comprehensive plan amendment for Lulfs Grove that would reclassify over 460 acres from commercial/industrial to residential and open space. Quasi-judicial items include a rezoning for St. Lucie HCA Hospital and amendments to the Western Grove DRI and Verano South Pod D planned unit developments. The board will also elect officers and review a grant application for O.L. Peacock Sr. Park enhancements.
