Health & Human Services Board

The Health and Human Services Board will receive updates and reports from all department units, including Adult Long Term Care, Behavioral Health, Child Protective Services, Youth Justice, Economic Support, and Public Health. The board will also review a budget performance report through November 2022 and a purchased service recap. No votes on policy or spending are scheduled; the meeting is primarily informational.

The board approved the minutes from the December 6, 2022, meeting. The remainder of the meeting consisted of reports from various departments including Public Health, Behavioral Health, and the Senior Resource Center.

Economic Development & UW-Extension Committee

The Economic Development & UW-Extension Committee will receive updates on broadband projects, housing, and a Northwood Technical College workforce training facility and housing development. Reports will also be presented from the Agricultural Fair Association, UW-Extension, Hayward Lakes Visitors & Convention Bureau, and other county departments. The meeting includes public comment and approval of previous minutes.

The committee approved the minutes from the December 5, 2022, meeting. The remainder of the meeting consisted of written and verbal reports regarding the agricultural fair, UW-Extension, tourism, and trail damage.

Public Safety Committee

The Public Safety Committee will discuss and possibly appoint an Emergency Management Director and review a revised communications specialist contract. Reports from the Sheriff's Office, Circuit Court, and other departments will be presented. The meeting includes public comment and approval of previous minutes.
