Redistricting Subcommittee

The Redistricting Subcommittee is conducting its third of four public hearings to gather input on potential City Council election district boundaries. The body will review corrected 2020 U.S. Census population analysis from the National Demographics Corporation and draft maps to recommend a final map for City Council adoption.

Seal Beach Historic Resources Foundation

The Board of Directors will conduct a meeting via teleconference to address foundation business. Items include introductions, discussing the purpose of the foundation, and nominating officers.

City Council Meeting

The City Council will review several consent calendar items including a traffic signal project and maintenance agreement terminations. The meeting also includes presentations on the Americana Awards and a Police Department website update.

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The City Council is holding a public hearing to consider the Planning Commission's recommendation to adopt the Housing Element Update for the 2021-2029 planning period. The body will also determine if the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Recreation & Parks Commission

The Commission will meet via teleconference to conduct routine business. The agenda includes a status update regarding the Seal Beach Tennis and Pickleball Center.

City Council Meeting

The City Council will review several items on the consent calendar, including infrastructure projects and professional services. Discussion includes an update on redistricting and various municipal ordinances.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is meeting to discuss the 2021-2029 Housing Element Update for the city. The body will consider adopting Resolution 22-01 to recommend approval of this update to the City Council.

City Council Meeting

The City Council will meet via teleconference to discuss administrative appointments and city infrastructure. The body is deciding on a Planning Commission appointment and reviewing several project resolutions and grant applications.
