City Council

This is a special meeting of Shaker Heights City Council to take public comment on two zoning amendments. The first rezones commercial areas at Fairmount Circle and the south side of Chagrin Boulevard west of Lee Road, and updates zoning text including adding off-campus student housing as a conditional use. The second adds off-campus student housing as a conditional use in the Multifamily Residential district and changes the distance limit from a university campus to 1,500 feet. No final votes are scheduled; the council is hearing public input.
