Zoning Board of Adjustment
The Zoning Board of Adjustment will first approve the minutes from its May 7, 2024 meeting. It will then hold a public hearing on a variance request for fencing on approximately 0.16 acres at 915 Cecelia Street. After the hearing, the board will take action on the same variance request. City Council
The Taylor City Council will consider routine consent items, including approval of minutes from the July 11 meeting and the July 18 budget workshop, a resolution to approve an MOU between the Taylor Independent School District and the Taylor Police Department for school resource officer positions, and an amendment to the cooperation agreement with Williamson County for CDBG participation. The council will also hold public hearings to introduce three ordinances: a neighborhood plan for Turner Springs, an employment center plan called iMarket, and a small area plan for a Special Employment District North. An additional ordinance will address zoning for traffic and speed on portions of FM 973. The meeting may include an executive session on Project Sam and Project Star.
