Board weighs tree removals for Arby's sign, Dominion pipeline

The Shade Tree and Beautification Board discussed three tree-removal requests: one at 777 S 400 E (deferred because the applicant was absent), one for a large Ash tree at the new Arby's on Dixie Dr, and one for 11 trees along Snow Canyon Pkwy for a Dominion Energy gas pipeline. The board also approved minutes from October 20, 2020, which included denying a request to remove a Sycamore tree at Spilsbury Mortuary. No final decisions were made on the removal requests; the board recommended site visits and further review.
