Planning Commission
The Blanding Planning Commission voted to approve updates to the Subdivision Ordinance required by the state, including a 30-day approval process, a Technical Review Committee, and revised definitions. The commission amended the motion to cap minor subdivisions at 1.5 acres (instead of 4 lots) and define major subdivisions as 5+ lots or larger than 1.5 acres. Planning Commission
The Blanding Planning Commission approved October meeting minutes and discussed multiple items. They gave a favorable recommendation to the city council to rezone Josh Meyer's property at Center and 300 West from R1 to R2. They also recommended supporting a natural gas line to the uranium mill and authorized advertising for a downtown study consultant.
