The Commission held a public hearing on the Keystone & West View Pad Sites TIF Redevelopment Plan, noting that four of seven lots have been developed. The Commission accepted the City Staff Report regarding the project's financial progress and elected new officers.

Warrensburg Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Board approved a contract with Enneking Construction LLC for the renovation of 205 North Holden Street. The Board also authorized a letter of support for Knob Noster State Park's Urban Night Sky Place certification application.

Energy and Sustainability Task Force

The Energy and Sustainability Task Force will discuss a Public Works plan to acquire 5-10% electric vehicles in the future, receive updates from the Tree Board and on solid waste from Burns McDonnell, and plan a presentation to the City Council in February 2023. Members will also present their selected 'pet' project ideas and hear subcommittee reports.

Parks and Recreation Board

Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional use permit for a community utility facility at 123 W. Young St. The approval requires the applicant to address six staff review items in the final site plan. The site will serve as a restoration location for equipment and supplies during service outages.

Energy and Sustainability Task Force

The Warrensburg Energy and Sustainability Task Force will meet to discuss updates on solid waste and a side path, and to consider leadership roles for 2022/2023. The meeting is scheduled for November 3, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at the Warrensburg School District Central Office.

The Energy and Sustainability Task Force established its voting membership and appointed a Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Recorder. The group discussed a potential city takeover of solid waste servicing and the lack of EV fast-charging stations in Warrensburg.

Historic Preservation Commission

Parks and Recreation Board
