Board of Police Commissioners

Arts Commission
The commission reviewed a draft Public Arts Plan and a Master Arts Plan proposal from NIU. Members discussed revisions to the Public Arts Plan and agreed the Master Arts Plan proposal is ready for City Council review. The 2023 meeting schedule was approved.

Cultural & Social Awareness Commission
The Commission reviewed 252 survey responses and reached a consensus to base its future plan on three pillars: Education, Awareness, and Resources. Members will develop action steps and goals for these pillars for discussion at the next meeting. Chairperson Squires and Commissioner Kendall will develop a summary of the survey results.
