As we always do, we will start going for our work session to go through the regular agenda. First item is item 9, approve the minutes from the August 11th regular council meeting. Any questions, comments, edits? Okay. Number 10, consider an ordinance amending Chapter 31 of the comprehensive fee schedule. This is per the budget that we'll be approving. So every time we approve a budget, if there are fee changes, that's what's rolled in there. And so we had a couple fee changes that we heard from Robbie, as you recall. So those will be reflected as redlined in the ordinance. Number 11, consider a resolution authorizing the city. Managers to execute an amendment to the contract with Axon Enterprise to include additional tasers, increasing the annual expenditure amount not to exceed $636,618, and a revised contract amount not to exceed $5,933,088. Any questions? This is across the board. Yes, over here where we are. Just a lot of numbers. I got cross-eyed. Yep. But there were those that stood out, current expenditure of $607,000, et cetera. And then there's a $33,000, which is the increase, the total $641,000 plus plus. But it says that there is a not to exceed $636,000. So I'm a little confused about the discrepancy. Yeah. That's what's my point. It's multiple people. We use it to augment our staff like we don't have the luxury of having dedicated project people so we share our operational people with projects. I think what was cited at the time was that the names were not read into the record at the time, which would have been the normal practice. Okay. And so coming back... I'm good with how it is. Yeah. Thank you. And we will get a new customer facing interactive mobile application. So Republic's bid did come in at the lowest, but we were able to negotiate a few more savings. So the total residential bundled service rate will increase to 2630. Apartment services vary greatly depending on the apartment unit itself and what they set up. But as a blended rate increase, it is 13%. I added in a two-yard compactor monthly service model, which is a service model that is growing as more and more newer complexes get set up. They're seeking this option that we haven't had before. And that reduced the price from an individual single service to a monthly model would decrease the price by 66%. We separated out apartment trash rates and apartment recycling rates so that the apartments had more control over tailored pricing and what exactly it is that they wanted. And all of our ad hoc services, which would be your blocked containers, if they want a new container, and overages for those apartments, all of those prices will remain the same as they are today. We also capped the annual increase at 4%. And then we have two more ordinance updates that we'll be bringing to the next council session for your consideration. So the first of which is the yard waste bag. So as it is today, yard waste by ordinance is to be bagged and put in a green roll cart. The City Council will hold a worksession to discuss policies for short-term rentals and receive an update on the DART Silver Line. The regular meeting includes votes on several city contracts, speed limit changes, and economic incentives.

Thank you. line and the Silver line, and then ultimately the A train. Here's the Downtown Carrollton Station. Here's some of the special station finishes that are unique to Downtown Carrollton. Here's the Medill Bridge and the Old Mercer Yard. Here's the Josie Lane Bridge we partnered with the city of Carrollton on the special treatments to this bridge that you can see here. Here's Kelly Boulevard Crossing and the new Mercer Yard. We also are constructing the equipment maintenance facility near our Shiloh Station in Plano. This is where the vehicles will be housed overnight, washed, fueled , and maintained. This is an overview of the construction. Circled in yellow is the DART property that we purchased about a year ago. It's 3201 Technology Drive in Plano. That's where we'll house a lot of the office staff. And then you see being constructed the train wash, the maintenance bay, and then the fuel islands. Here's a picture of the train wash and some of the additional track that's been installed on the property. Here's a look at the vehicles. These are state-of -the-art vehicles manufactured in Salt Lake. Fully by America compliant. They're going to seat over 230 passengers. They have overhead storage, bike racks, and large luggage compartments recognizing that we will have a lot of airport-bound passengers, internal and external cameras for consistent DART police monitoring. Parks Master Plan adoption up for council vote
The City Council will vote on adopting the 2025 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan during its regular meeting. Prior to that, during the worksession, the council will receive funding requests from the Children's Advocacy Center for North Texas and Metrocrest Services, and discuss legislative updates and committee appointments. The consent agenda includes numerous contracts and agreements, including a $4.5 million credit card processing contract and a $2.07 million paving project at Sandy Lake Service Center and McInnish Sports Complex.

This is both of those. This is both of those, the processor and the credit card fee together. Yeah, I was just trying to understand. Yeah. What's the net cost. So what's the net cost to do. Credit card is just becoming more popular than it used to be because people want to get the cash back or they want to get the SkyMiles or just for sheer convenience. But ACH is actually the most popular method used. And the fee varies based on it? It varies based on each individual credit card. You can do online bill pay. I mean, there's a lot of options.
