Um, so real quickly, I don't plan to spend too much time on this item, um, but there are a few things about the upcoming CDC budget that we want to highlight. Um, so a preliminary budget for CDC went to the Board on April 27th, um, and then the Board approved their final budget, uh, at their July 27th meeting and recommended that this budget that's in front of you this evening, uh, be brought to City Council for approval. So this year's, uh, budget includes total revenue of $4,620,000, which is made up of mostly property tax, I'm sorry, sales tax revenue, um, and some investment revenue. And then the prior year revenue number of just over $2.21 million, that's just pulling from fund balance, uh, in CDC to make the budget whole. So revenues and expenses match. Uh, next, we're going to go over expenditures. Um, and I also, before we do that, I just want to say that sales tax is performing very well. We've budgeted conservatively again, um, but we expect this year's targets to exceed budget requirements. Um, so, um, we're going to go over, um, budget and revenue. Quiero hablar sobre cómo era el panorama financiero de su parque, de la ciudad, y cómo eso influye en lo que hacemos hoy. Hace unos 18 años, había cosas buenas y malas. Lo malo era que la ciudad no tenía muchas reservas. Y a nadie le gusta hablar más de eso que a Thane Harrison. Thane siempre decía que la ciudad tenía menos del 10% o del 20% en reservas. Él insistió en que creáramos una política, y hoy tenemos una que exige un 25% de reservas. Ya hablaremos de eso, pero hemos superado esa meta con creces. Sin embargo, relativamente hablando, no hace tanto tiempo, no teníamos ni de lejos lo que tenemos ahora.
