City Planning Commission

The City Planning Commission will hold a quasi-judicial hearing regarding appeals of a decision to approve a development plan modification. The modification allows for a data center and site improvements on a 21.96-acre site.

The City Planning Commission denied all appeals seeking to overturn the administrative approval of the Project Taurus data center development plan modification for Corporate Ridge Filing No. 1 Lot 4, but added conditions to the approval. The commission voted 6-2 to uphold the approval with conditions requiring utility usage reporting, a 50MW limit with a future hearing for any increase, replacement of a plan sheet, and dB(C) noise monitoring. The commission also denied a request to postpone the hearing and a motion to conduct a de novo review.

The City Planning Commission recommended approval to City Council for the Banning Lewis Ranch Village B2 master plan modification, rezoning, concept plans, and right-of-way vacation, all passing unanimously. The Commission also recommended approval for the Village C land use plan, rezoning, right-of-way vacation, and six development standards adjustments, all passing unanimously. A rezoning for Buckingham Industrial was recommended for approval with conditions by a 7-2 vote. The Commission also recommended approval of the AnnexCOS 2026 Annexation Plan.
