Commission to vote on zoning changes for alley setbacks and development standards
The City Commission will hold public hearings on three zoning ordinance amendments: clarifying rear setback rules for side lot lines adjoining alleys, giving the Development Services Director authority to adjust setbacks up to five feet for right-of-way dedications, and setting expiration dates for townhouse site plans. The commission will also consider a budget amendment, a $1.05 million increase for Deere lawn equipment, and a $300,000 stormwater master plan grant. Appointments to the Planning and Zoning Board and other boards are on the agenda.
