The Regular Meeting of June 15, 2026 of the City Council of the City of Foster City, sitting
as said Council and as ex officio the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal
Improvement District (EMID), was called to order at 6: 30 p.m. in the Council Chambers,

City Council approves $675,000 workers comp fund appropriation
The City Council and EMID Board will adopt several routine consent items, including a correction to a vehicle fund appropriation, a $45,000 appropriation for a compost program MOU, and a $675,000 appropriation from the Workers Compensation Fund for claim settlements with a $100,000 transfer from the General Fund. They will also disband the Audit Committee, appoint a member to the Citizens Sustainability Advisory Committee, adopt recent meeting minutes, and receive reports from the Youth Advisory Committee and the General Plan and Housing Element progress.

The duly called and noticed Special Meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission
of the City of Foster City, sitting as said Council and Planning Commission, was called to
order at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 620 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, San

Parks and Recreation Committee to elect officers and set 2026 work plan
The committee will meet to elect new officers and establish a work plan for 2026. The agenda also includes a review of the 2025 year-end report and an overview of the Parks and Recreation Department.
