at 515 Loudon Road. John Hickok (of CHA Consulting, Inc) made a presentation to the Board. Chairman

TOWN OF COLONIE SIGN REVIEW BOARD
July 7, 2026
Chairman Guzy called the meeting of the Town of Colonie Sign Review Board to order at 6:00 p.m. on
July 7, 2026, at the Public Operations Center, 347 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, New York.

The minutes from the June 2, 2026, meeting were reviewed. Member Huang made a motion to approve the
minutes. Member Putnam seconded the motion, and upon roll call, the minutes were unanimously approved
by the members present at the June 2, 2026, meeting.
A public hearing was held on the application of AJ Sign Company (Mabey’s Self Storage) for the premises
located at 344 New Karner Road. Thomas Wheeler made a presentation to the Board. Chairman Guzy made a
motion to deny the 67.48-square-foot wall sign. Member Huang seconded the motion, and upon calling the vote,
the motion to deny the sign passed unanimously.
A public hearing was held on the application of Sign & Lighting Services LLC (Five Guys) for the premises

ZBA escuchará apelación por variación para campo atlético de césped sintético en 515 Loudon Road

RESOLUTION NO. 225-A FOR 2026
A regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Colonie was held at Town Hall on
the 25th day of June, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

___ offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Resolution permanently appointing Emma R. Kennedy to the position
of Typist, Grade 6, in the Building Department, and authorizing a leave
of absence without pay.
WHEREAS, the Personnel Officer has certified Emma R. Kennedy as eligible for
permanent appointment from eligible list: TY-097, established January 15, 2026;
BE IT RESOLVED that Emma R. Kennedy be, and hereby is, permanently appointed to
the position of Typist, Grade 6, in the Building Department at an annual salary of $37,452.00,
effective June 29, 2026; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Emma R. Kennedy be, and hereby is, authorized to
take a leave of absence without pay, effective July 27, 2026 through July 31, 2026.
