City Council to adopt pre‑zoning ordinance for 190‑acre annexation area
The council will consider several consent‑calendar items, including approval of the January 20, 2026 meeting minutes and a report on ARPA funds. It will conduct a second reading and adopt Ordinance 26‑01 that pre‑zones 94 parcels covering 190 acres in the city’s sphere of influence for proposed Annexation “A” and “B”. Planning Commission postpones hearing on two major development proposals to Feb 24
The Planning Commission adjourned its January 27, 2026 meeting and postponed all public‑hearing items to its next regular meeting on February 24, 2026. The continued items are the Chacon Farms master‑planned residential development of 419 units on 73.97 acres, and the Sanderson Crossroads Shopping Center project proposing four restaurants, a 20,000‑sq ft grocery store, a 10,000‑sq ft retail building, and a 194,144‑sq ft self‑storage facility. The commission will consider these proposals at the February meeting held at the San Jacinto Community Center, 625 S. Pico Avenue.

CITY OF SAN JACINTO PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regular meeting of the City of San Jacinto Planning
Commission scheduled for January 27, 2026, has been adjourned.
All public hearing items that were duly noticed and published for the January 27, 2026, Planning
Commission meeting are hereby continued to a date certain and will be heard by the Planning
Commission at its regular meeting on February 24, 2026, at 6:00P.M. at the San Jacinto
Community Center, located at 625 S. Pico Avenue, San Jacinto, California.
The continued items include the following:

A proposal by Taylor and Clark Consulting on behalf of Richard Michael and Ramona

A proposal by Rancon to establish four restaurants with drive -thru service, a 20,000
square foot grocery store, a 10,000 square foot building for retail shops, and a 194,144
